These terms outline our policies to ensure clear communication, the safety of your dog, and a smooth experience for everyone.
These Terms & Conditions form the agreement between Oh Rose Dog Walking and the client, as follows:
Oh Rose Dog Walking is fully insured with Public Liability Insurance specifically designed for professional dog walkers. This insurance protects both you and your dog in the unlikely event of any incident while your companion is in our care.
A copy of our insurance certificate is available upon request.
We currently accept the following payment methods for all walks and packages:
If paying by bank transfer, please use your name and your dog's name as the payment reference so we can match your payment promptly.
Payment is due at the time of service completion, unless otherwise agreed as part of a weekly package (see our Late Payment Policy).
We understand that life can be unpredictable, and sometimes plans need to change. We kindly ask for your understanding with the following policy:
How to cancel: Please notify us as soon as possible by phone, WhatsApp, or our online contact form. We really appreciate your cooperation.
In the event that the service provider (Oh Rose Walks) has to cancel due to sickness/absence or adverse weather, either a full refund or alternative date/time will be agreed.
Payment is due upon completion of the walk (or completion of a package's last walk), unless otherwise agreed. If payment remains outstanding after 7 days, we reserve the right to suspend future bookings until the balance has been paid.
A £5 administration fee may be added to invoices that remain unpaid after 7 days.
At Oh Rose Walks, your dog's safety and wellbeing always come first. For this reason, I never walk more than two dogs from the same household at any one time.
Limiting walks to a maximum of two dogs per household allows me to maintain full control, provide each dog with the attention they deserve, and ensure safe, enjoyable walks in residential areas, parks, and other public spaces.
This policy helps create a calmer walking environment, reduces the risk of incidents, and allows me to focus on the individual needs of every dog in my care.
Dogs will only be walked off lead where written permission has been provided by the owner and it is safe to do so.
Otherwise, dogs will remain on lead throughout the walk.
Owners are responsible for ensuring their dog wears a suitable collar or harness that is correctly fitted and in good condition.
Oh Rose Dog Walking cannot accept responsibility for equipment that breaks due to wear and tear.
In the event that a harness or lead cannot be located, Oh Rose Dog Walking can provide equipment for the duration of the walk, if available.
Owners must inform Oh Rose Dog Walking of any history of aggression, biting, anxiety, or behavioural issues before walks begin.
We reserve the right to refuse or immediately end a walk if a dog behaves in a way that presents a risk to people, other animals, or itself.
Your dog's wellbeing is our top priority. During our initial home visit we gather important information about your companion. However, as time goes on, health conditions or behavioural changes can develop.
Please inform us promptly of any:
We will regularly check in with you about any updates. This helps us keep your dog safe, happy, and comfortable during every walk.
If your dog becomes ill or is injured whilst in our care, Oh Rose Dog Walking will make every reasonable effort to contact you immediately.
If you cannot be reached and urgent veterinary treatment is required, we reserve the right to seek treatment from your registered veterinary practice or the nearest available veterinary surgeon.
Any veterinary costs incurred remain the responsibility of the dog owner.
Welcome to the Great British Weather! 🐾
Your dog will sometimes return from their walk a little muddy or wet — especially during the winter months. While we always do our best to towel dry and clean them as much as possible before returning them to you, we cannot guarantee they will be completely spotless after every walk.
The service provider (Oh Rose Walks) reserves the right to cancel a dog walk, should the weather be at a concerning temperature, at 28°C+. The dog owner will be contacted and either a full refund or alternative walk date/time will be agreed.
We kindly ask that you are understanding about this natural part of enjoying outdoor adventures.
With your permission, we may occasionally take photographs or videos of your dog during walks for use on our website and social media pages.
No owner names, addresses or personal information will ever be published.
